These tasks await you:

•  You will independently take over the administration and configuration of Oracle and Microsoft SQL servers
• In this context, you will take care of result-orientated installations, performance tuning as well as backup and recovery activities
• Thanks to your extensive experience with SQL scripting, database trigger mechanisms, table indexing and execution plans, you will act as a technical specialist for our customers
• You also use your deep knowledge of database monitoring and performance analysis tools to ensure optimal database operation
• Based on your skills, you’ll perform database tasks on various operating systems including Windows, Linux and Unix.
• Your complex expertise enables you to understand demanding customer requirements and develop optimal solutions
• In a forward-looking manner, you support the creation of project plans with the help of effort estimates
• With high quality standards and a strong customer focus, you develop meaningful documentation

You will impress us with:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or a comparable degree
• Professional experience with Oracle and MSSQL
• Experience with database administration and SQL scripting
• Knowledge of various operating systems, such as Windows Server, Linux and Unix derivatives
• Fluency in English

Additional knowledge that we are particularly pleased about

• Familiarity with cloud environments and maintenance of hybrid system architectures (mix of on-premise and cloud system infrastructure)
• Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Professional experience in a consulting company
• Knowledge of PLM systems
• Fluency in German
